At present, the polystyrene foam, polyethylene foam, melamine foam, etc. used in automobiles are either not flame retardant, or easily lose efficacy in water, or have a short service life, or smell stimulation, or have poor toughness, poor weather resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and large smoke emission. All the above problems can be eliminated by using Q series polyimide foam products as automobile heat insulation and sound attenuation materials.
