Aerospace H series foam products

The aerospace H series polyimide foam products produced by our company can meet the strict requirements in the aerospace field, and are ideal heat insulation and sound absorption materials. Its density ranges from 4 to 6KG/m3, and it is lightweight. Essentially flame retardant, its outstanding flame retardant performance can meet the flame propagation requirements of the radiation plate in FAR25.856 (a), with ultra-low smoke generation, almost no toxic gases or smoke release, good weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance, long service life, and no water absorption failure. Compared to the potential carcinogenic risk of quartz cotton, this series is environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

    Polyimide not only has excellent high-temperature resistance (350 ℃) but also excellent low-temperature resistance (-260 ℃). Its long-term use at a temperature of 300 ℃ has important application value in the field of deep space exploration.

    Product advantages

    Lightweight Aerospace H series polyimide foam products are extremely light, which means saving fuel and increasing payload. Other thermal insulation materials may degrade under extreme high and low temperature conditions in a wide range of service temperatures, but aerospace H series polyimide foam products still maintain their original performance. Even at ultra-low temperature, aerospace H series polyimide foam products can still maintain their flexibility.
    Flame retardancy With its inherent flame retardancy, aerospace H series polyimide foam products hardly produce smoke or toxic substances causing dysfunction when encountering open fire.
    Environment protection Aerospace H series polyimide foam products do not need special processing technology. Halogens, heavy metals, formaldehyde or ozone depleting chemicals are not used in the production of aerospace H series polyimide foam products.
    Sound absorption/thermal insulation performance

    Weather resistance

    Compared with other commonly used heat insulation and sound absorption materials, aerospace H series polyimide foam products have better damage resistance. In the vibration environment or the extreme cold and hot environment where other thermal insulation and sound absorption materials may degrade, aerospace H series polyimide foam products still remain in their original state after a long time of use. Aerospace H series polyimide foam products also have good chemical stability, resistance to hydrocarbons, ethanol and dilute acids.
